- Water800ml
- Salt1 tsp
- Garlic2 cloves, minced
- Fresh Parsley2 tbsp, chopped
- Olive oil2 tbsp

Bring water and salt to a boil in a medium saucepan.

Gradually whisk in the cornmeal to prevent lumps.

Reduce heat to low and simmer, stirring frequently, for about 15-20 minutes, or until the cornmeal is cooked through and has a thick, porridge-like consistency.

In a small pan, sauté minced garlic in olive oil for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Do not brown.
