Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease and flour a 20cm (8-inch) round cake pan.

In a large bowl, combine farmer's cheese, eggs, granulated sugar, lemon zest, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.

In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
