- Potatoes600 g
- Savoy Cabbage1/2 head
- Onions2 medium
- Garlic4 cloves
- Smoked Paprika1 tsp
- Caraway Seeds1/2 tsp
- Vegetable Broth200 ml
- Olive Oil2 tbsp
- Saltto taste
- Black Pepperto taste

Cut smoked pork into large chunks. Peel and cut potatoes into large pieces. Core and cut cabbage into thick wedges. Slice onions and mince garlic.

Heat olive oil in a large Dutch oven or heavy-bottomed pot over medium-high heat.

Sear the smoked pork chunks until browned on all sides. Remove pork and set aside.

Add onions to the pot and sauté until softened, about 5 minutes.

Add minced garlic, smoked paprika, and caraway seeds. Cook for 1 minute until fragrant.

Add the cabbage wedges to the pot, layering them around the sides. Pour in the vegetable broth.

Return the smoked pork to the pot. Add the potato pieces. Season with salt and pepper.

Bring to a simmer, then cover tightly. Reduce heat to low and cook for 2 to 2.5 hours, or until pork is tender and cabbage is soft.
