Clean and prepare the sardines.

Cut the zucchini and bell pepper into bite-sized pieces. Halve the cherry tomatoes.

Toss the vegetables with 3 tbsp of olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.

Toss the sardines with the remaining 2 tbsp olive oil, salt, and pepper.

Grill the vegetables for about 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally, until tender-crisp.

Grill the sardines alongside the vegetables for 3-5 minutes per side, until cooked through.

Serve the grilled sardines with the roasted vegetables, drizzled with lemon juice and garnished with fresh basil.
