- Poppy seeds200g
- Honey100g
- Granulated sugar50g
- Milk50ml
- Lemon zest1/2
- Egg yolk1
- Powdered sugarfor dusting

Prepare the filling: grind poppy seeds, mix with honey, sugar, milk, lemon zest until a thick paste forms.

Thaw puff pastry according to package instructions. Roll it out slightly if needed.

Spread the poppy seed filling evenly over the puff pastry, leaving a border.

Roll up the pastry tightly from the long side.

Whisk the egg yolk with a tablespoon of water. Brush the top of the roll.

Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F).

Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed.

Let cool slightly, then dust generously with powdered sugar.
