
Arambašići with Chocolate Glaze

Prepare the cookie dough as per the Traditional Arambašići recipe (Steps 1-3).

Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.

Shape the cookies into logs and place them on the prepared baking sheets.

Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until lightly golden brown. Let cool completely on a wire rack.

While cookies cool, prepare the chocolate glaze: Gently heat heavy cream in a small saucepan until simmering. Remove from heat and pour over dark chocolate chips in a heatproof bowl. Let sit for 5 minutes, then whisk until smooth.

Dip the cooled cookies into the chocolate glaze, ensuring they are fully coated. Alternatively, drizzle the glaze over the cookies.

Place the glazed cookies back on parchment paper to allow the glaze to set. You can sprinkle a few extra chopped walnuts on top before the glaze hardens, if desired.
