- Store-bought thick short pasta (like rigatoni or penne)350g

Finely chop onions and garlic. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and cook, breaking it up, until browned. Drain excess fat.

Add chopped onions to the skillet and sauté until softened, about 5 minutes. Add garlic and cook for another minute.

Stir in crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, beef broth, oregano, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer, then reduce heat to low, cover, and cook for at least 30 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce has thickened and flavors have melded.

Meanwhile, cook the store-bought pasta according to package directions in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain well.

Add the drained pasta to the sauce in the skillet. Toss to coat evenly. Simmer for 2-3 minutes.
