- Eggs (yolks)4 large
- Granulated sugar100g
- Ladyfingers (Savoiardi)200g
- Strong brewed coffee300ml
- Amaretto liqueur3 tbsp
- Dark chocolate50g
- Saltpinch

Prepare the mascarpone cream: Whisk egg yolks and sugar over a double boiler until thickened. Cool, then fold in mascarpone.

Brew strong coffee and let it cool. Stir in Amaretto liqueur.

Dip ladyfingers in the coffee-Amaretto mixture and layer them in a serving dish.

Spread half of the mascarpone cream over the ladyfingers.

Add another layer of dipped ladyfingers and the remaining cream.

Chill for at least 4 hours.

Grate or shave dark chocolate over the top just before serving.
