- Canned white beans2 cans (approx. 400g each)
- Smoked sausage (e.g., kielbasa)200g
- Onion1/2 medium
- Garlic2 cloves
- Ketchup1/4 cup
- Brown sugar1 tbsp
- Worcestershire sauce1 tsp
- Bell pepper (optional)1/4 cup diced

- Black pepperto taste

Preheat oven to 190°C (375°F).

Drain and rinse the canned beans.

Slice the smoked sausage. Dice the onion and mince the garlic. Dice bell pepper if using.

In a skillet, sauté the sliced sausage until lightly browned. Add the diced onion and bell pepper (if using) and cook until softened, about 5 minutes. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute more.

In a bowl, combine the drained beans, cooked sausage mixture, ketchup, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir well to combine.

Transfer the mixture to a small casserole dish. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
