- Coconut milk400ml
- Pre-made chili paste (sambal tumis)3 tbsp
- Shallots2
- Garlic2 cloves
- Lemongrass1 stalk
- Vegetable oil1 tbsp
- Saltto taste
- Water50ml

Finely chop shallots and garlic.

Lightly bruise the lemongrass stalk.

Heat vegetable oil in a pot over medium heat. Sauté chopped shallots and garlic until fragrant.

Add bruised lemongrass, coconut milk, and water. Bring to a simmer.
