Bahan

  • Firm white fish fillets, cut into chunks600g
  • Kicap manis (sweet soy sauce)100ml
  • Chili paste (sambal tumis)2 tbsp
  • Garlic, minced2 cloves
  • Lime juice1 tbsp
  • Sugar1 tsp
  • Vegetable oil2 tbsp
  • Saltto taste
  • Black pepperto taste
  • Water30ml
  • Spring onions, sliced (for garnish)1 tbsp

Langkah

    Season fish chunks with salt and black pepper. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a wok and pan-fry fish until golden. Set aside.

    Add remaining 1 tbsp oil to the wok. Sauté minced garlic until fragrant.

    Add chili paste and cook for 1 minute.

    Stir in kicap manis, lime juice, sugar, and water. Simmer for 3-4 minutes until sauce thickens.

    Return fish to the wok and toss to coat.

    Garnish with sliced spring onions and serve immediately.
