  • Beef sirloin or flank steak, thinly sliced400g
  • Water1.5 liters
  • Garlic, minced2 cloves
  • Ginger, grated1 tsp
  • Beef bouillon cube1
  • Carrots, sliced1 large
  • Saltto taste
  • Black pepperto taste
  • Spring onions, choppedfor garnish
  • Cilantro, choppedfor garnish

    In a pot, bring water to a boil. Add minced garlic and grated ginger.

    Add the thinly sliced beef and cook for about 5-7 minutes until just cooked through. Skim off any foam.
