- Beef sirloin or flank steak, thinly sliced400g
- Water1.5 liters
- Garlic, minced2 cloves
- Ginger, grated1 tsp
- Beef bouillon cube1
- Carrots, sliced1 large
- Saltto taste
- Black pepperto taste
- Spring onions, choppedfor garnish
- Cilantro, choppedfor garnish

In a pot, bring water to a boil. Add minced garlic and grated ginger.

Add the thinly sliced beef and cook for about 5-7 minutes until just cooked through. Skim off any foam.

Crumble in the beef bouillon cube and stir until dissolved.

Add sliced carrots and simmer for 10-15 minutes until tender.
