  • Prawns300g, peeled and deveined
  • Instant noodle nests4
  • Chicken or prawn stock1 liter
  • Jarred chili paste (sambal oelek or similar)3 tbsp
  • Garlic2 cloves, minced
  • Soy sauce1 tbsp
  • Sugar1/2 tsp
  • Saltto taste
  • Black pepperto taste
  • Vegetable oil1 tbsp
  • Fried shallotsfor garnish
  • Sliced red chiliesfor garnish

    Heat vegetable oil in a pot. Sauté minced garlic until fragrant.

    Add jarred chili paste and cook for 1 minute.

    Pour in chicken or prawn stock. Add soy sauce and sugar. Bring to a boil.

    Add prawns to the boiling broth and cook for 2-3 minutes until pink.
