- Chicken broth1.5 liters
- Rice vermicelli (Mee Hoon)200g
- Chicken breast200g
- Fish cake100g
- Shrimp100g
- Garlic3 cloves
- Ginger1 inch piece
- Spring onions2 stalks
- Cilantro1 bunch
- Soy sauce2 tbsp
- Sesame oil1 tsp
- Saltto taste
- White pepperto taste

Boil chicken breast in water until cooked. Remove chicken, shred it, and reserve the broth. Strain the broth to ensure clarity.

Slice fish cake and peel and devein shrimp.

Mince garlic and ginger. Chop spring onions and cilantro.

In a pot, heat a little oil and sauté minced garlic and ginger until fragrant.

Add the reserved chicken broth to the pot. Bring to a boil.

Add shredded chicken, fish cake, and shrimp to the boiling broth. Cook until shrimp turns pink and fish cake is heated through.

Season the broth with soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and white pepper to taste.

Soak rice vermicelli in hot water for a few minutes until softened, then drain.

Divide the softened rice vermicelli among serving bowls.

Ladle the hot soup with chicken, fish cake, and shrimp over the noodles in each bowl.
