- Firm white fish (e.g., snapper, sea bass), cut into bite-sized cubes400g
- Lime juice100ml
- Red onion, thinly sliced1 medium
- Red chilies, finely chopped2
- Ginger, finely minced1 teaspoon
- Saltto taste
- Water1 tablespoon

Place the cubed fish in a bowl. Pour lime juice over it and let it marinate for about 10 minutes until the fish turns opaque.
