  • Tuhau stems400g
  • Dried anchovies (ikan bilis)50g
  • Garlic cloves3
  • Red chilies2
  • Vegetable oil3 tbsp
  • Saltto taste

Langkah

    Wash and thinly slice the tuhau stems.

    Finely chop garlic and slice red chilies.

    Heat 2 tbsp of vegetable oil in a wok over medium-high heat. Fry the dried anchovies until crispy. Remove anchovies and set aside, leaving the oil in the wok.

    Add the remaining 1 tbsp of oil to the wok. Add chopped garlic and sliced chilies, stir-fry until fragrant.

    Add the sliced tuhau stems to the wok. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.

    Return the crispy anchovies to the wok. Season with salt to taste. Toss well to combine.
