  • Galangal, sliced1 inch
  • Lemongrass, bruised1 stalk
  • Dried red chilies, soaked5-7
  • Turmeric powder1 tsp
  • Coriander powder1 tsp
  • Shrimp paste (belacan)1/2 tsp
  • Palm sugar1 tbsp
  • Tamarind paste1 tbsp
  • Saltto taste
  • Black pepperto taste
  • Cooking oil2 tbsp
  • Chopped peanutsfor garnish
  • Fresh mint leavesfor garnish
