- Ground beef300g
- Onion, finely chopped1 medium
- Garlic, minced3 cloves
- Tomato paste2 tbsp
- Canned crushed tomatoes200g

- Plain yogurt200g

- Dried mint1 tsp
- Red pepper flakes (pul biber)to garnish

Cook pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain, reserving some pasta water.

While pasta cooks, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chopped onion and sauté until softened, about 5-7 minutes.

Add ground beef to the skillet and cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until browned. Drain excess fat.

Stir in minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.

Add tomato paste and cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly.

Pour in crushed tomatoes, season with salt and black pepper. Add dried mint. Bring to a simmer, then reduce heat and cook for 15-20 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken.

In a small bowl, mix yogurt with 1 minced garlic clove (optional, for extra garlic flavor) and a pinch of salt.
