Bahan
- Chicken thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces500g
- Potatoes, peeled and cubed2 medium
- Fermented soybean paste (taucheo)3 tbsp
- Minced garlic1 tbsp
- Minced ginger1 tsp
- Sugar1 tbsp
- Dark soy sauce1 tbsp
- Water250ml
- Vegetable oil1 tbsp
- Saltto taste
- Black pepperto taste
- Red chilies, slicedfor garnish

Heat vegetable oil in a pot over medium-high heat. Add minced garlic and ginger, sauté until fragrant.

Add chicken pieces and brown them.

Stir in the fermented soybean paste (taucheo) and cook for 1 minute.

Add potatoes, sugar, dark soy sauce, and water. Bring to a boil.

Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 25-30 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through and potatoes are tender.

Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
