Bahan

  • Chicken thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces500g
  • Potatoes, peeled and cubed2 medium
  • Fermented soybean paste (taucheo)3 tbsp
  • Minced garlic1 tbsp
  • Minced ginger1 tsp
  • Sugar1 tbsp
  • Dark soy sauce1 tbsp
  • Water250ml
  • Vegetable oil1 tbsp
  • Saltto taste
  • Black pepperto taste
  • Red chilies, slicedfor garnish

Langkah

    Heat vegetable oil in a pot over medium-high heat. Add minced garlic and ginger, sauté until fragrant.

    Add chicken pieces and brown them.

    Stir in the fermented soybean paste (taucheo) and cook for 1 minute.

    Add potatoes, sugar, dark soy sauce, and water. Bring to a boil.

    Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 25-30 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through and potatoes are tender.

    Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

    Serve hot, garnished with sliced red chilies.
