- Lasagna noodles, broken8 oz
- Ground beef1 lb
- Onion, chopped1/2 medium
- Garlic, minced2 cloves
- Marinara sauce24 oz jar
- Water or broth2 cups
- Ricotta cheese1 cup
- Mozzarella cheese, shredded1.5 cups
- Parmesan cheese, grated1/2 cup
- Dried Italian seasoning1 tsp
- Saltto taste
- Black pepperto taste
- Olive oil1 tbsp

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chopped onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up. Drain excess fat. Stir in minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.

Stir in marinara sauce, water/broth, broken lasagna noodles, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil.

Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until noodles are tender, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.

Stir in ricotta cheese and half of the mozzarella cheese. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until cheese is melted and combined.

Top with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese. Cover and let stand for 5 minutes to melt the cheese.
