- Ripe plums700 g
- Kumquats (Tắc)300 g
- Granulated sugar500 g
- Water100 ml

Wash plums and kumquats. Pit the plums and cut into halves. Slice the kumquats thinly, removing seeds.

In a pot, combine plums, kumquats, sugar, and water. Stir well.

Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring until sugar dissolves.

Reduce heat to low and cook for 60-70 minutes, stirring occasionally. The fruits should break down and the syrup should thicken.

Gently mash the fruit mixture.

Strain through a sieve, pressing gently to extract the syrup. You can leave some fruit pulp for texture.

Return syrup to the pot and simmer for another 10 minutes to achieve desired consistency.
