- Canned or pre-cooked mashed mung beans1 cup
- Coconut milk1/4 cup
- Sugar2 tablespoons
- Salt1/4 teaspoon

Rinse the glutinous rice thoroughly and soak it in water for at least 1 hour.

Drain the soaked rice. Steam the rice for about 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through.

While the rice is steaming, gently warm the coconut milk, sugar, and salt in a small saucepan until dissolved. Do not boil.

Once the rice is cooked, transfer it to a bowl. Add the pre-cooked mung beans and the warm coconut milk mixture. Stir well to combine.

Let it sit for 5 minutes for the flavors to meld.
