Nguyên liệu
- Ground pork500g
- Betel leaves (lá lốt)20-25 leaves
- Shallots, minced2 tbsp
- Garlic, minced1 tbsp
- Fish sauce2 tbsp
- Sugar1 tsp
- Black pepper1/2 tsp
- Vegetable oil1 tbsp
- Salt1/2 tsp
- Water1 tbsp
Các bước
- 1
In a bowl, combine ground pork, minced shallots, minced garlic, fish sauce, sugar, salt, black pepper, and 1 tbsp water. Mix well until thoroughly combined.
- 2
Wash and pat dry the betel leaves. Trim the tough stem from the bottom of each leaf.
- 3
Place about 1-2 tablespoons of the pork mixture onto the shiny side of each betel leaf. Fold the sides of the leaf inwards, then roll it up tightly from the stem end.
- 4
Heat 1 tbsp of vegetable oil in a non-stick skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat. Alternatively, prepare a charcoal grill.
- 5
Place the wrapped rolls seam-side down in the hot pan or on the grill. Cook for about 5-7 minutes per side, or until the pork is cooked through and the leaves are slightly charred and wilted.
- 6
Serve hot, typically with fresh herbs, rice noodles, and nuoc cham dipping sauce.
