- Fresh ginger30g
- Scallions2 stalks
- Garlic2 cloves
- Fish sauce1 tbsp
- Saltto taste
- Black pepperto taste

Clean the squid. Lightly score the body if desired.

Slice ginger thinly. Chop scallions. Lightly crush some green peppercorns.

Rub the squid with a little salt and black pepper.

Place squid in a steamer basket with ginger slices, scallions, and crushed green peppercorns.

Steam over boiling water for 7-10 minutes, until squid is cooked through and tender.
