- Salmon fillets4 (6 oz each)
- Unsalted butter4 tbsp
- Lemon juice2 tbsp
- Garlic, minced2 cloves
- Fresh parsley, chopped2 tbsp
- Saltto taste
- Black pepperto taste
- Olive oil1 tbsp

Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels and season generously with salt and pepper.

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.

Place salmon fillets skin-side down in the hot skillet. Sear for 4-5 minutes until the skin is crispy and golden brown.

Flip the salmon and cook for another 2-4 minutes, depending on desired doneness.

Remove salmon from the skillet and set aside.

Reduce heat to medium. Add butter to the skillet and melt.

Add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.

Stir in lemon juice and cook for 1 minute, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan.

Stir in chopped parsley. Season the sauce with salt and pepper to taste.
