- Black pepper1/4 tsp

Prepare the batter: Finely chop the chives and green onions. In a bowl, whisk together rice flour, cornstarch, salt, and pepper. Add the egg and gradually whisk in water until a smooth, thin batter forms, similar to crepe batter.

Add aromatics: Stir the chopped chives and green onions into the batter.

Pan-fry the pancake: Heat a generous amount of vegetable oil in a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Pour about half of the batter into the skillet, spreading it thinly to form a round pancake. Cook for 3-4 minutes until the edges are golden brown and crispy.

Flip and cook: Carefully flip the pancake and cook the other side for another 3-4 minutes until golden and crisp. Add more oil if needed.
