- Pork belly1 kg
- Five-spice powder2 tbsp
- Soy sauce4 tbsp
- Honey2 tbsp
- Garlic, minced3 cloves
- Shallots, minced2 tbsp
- Sesame oil1 tbsp
- Fish sauce1 tbsp
- Salt1 tsp
- Black pepper1/2 tsp
- Water2 tbsp

Slice pork belly into thin, bite-sized pieces.

In a bowl, combine five-spice powder, soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, minced shallots, sesame oil, fish sauce, salt, black pepper, and water. Mix well to create the marinade.

Add the pork belly slices to the marinade and toss to coat evenly. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or preferably overnight.

Preheat grill to medium-high heat.

Grill the marinated pork slices for 3-5 minutes per side, or until cooked through and nicely caramelized with slightly charred edges.

Remove from grill and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
