  • Fish sauce1 tbsp
  • Sugar1 tsp
  • Black pepper1/2 tsp
  • Salt1/4 tsp
  • Egg1
  • Annatto oil (for color)1 tbsp
  • Banana leaves or parchment paper (for steaming)as needed
  • Vegetable oil (for frying)2 tbsp
  • Cilantro (for garnish)as needed
  • Red chili pepper (for garnish)as needed

    In a bowl, combine crab meat, ground pork, minced shallots, minced garlic, fish sauce, sugar, salt, black pepper, and egg. Mix well until thoroughly combined.
