- Hake fillets700g
- Potatoes500g
- Onion1 medium
- Garlic2 cloves
- Olive oil4 tbsp
- Paprika (sweet or smoked)2 tsp
- Fresh parsley1/4 bunch
- Saltto taste
- Black pepperto taste

Preheat oven to 190°C (375°F).

Peel and thinly slice potatoes. Slice onion and mince garlic.

In a bowl, toss sliced potatoes with 2 tbsp olive oil, salt, pepper, and paprika.

Spread the seasoned potatoes in a baking dish. Bake for 20 minutes.

Remove dish from oven. Place hake fillets on top of the partially cooked potatoes.

Mix remaining 2 tbsp olive oil with minced garlic and chopped parsley. Drizzle over the fish.

Season the fish with salt and pepper.

Return to oven and bake for another 20-25 minutes, until fish is cooked and potatoes are tender.

Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
