  • Dill (fresh)1 bunch
  • Horseradish Root100 g
  • Water3 L
  • Salt150 g
  • Vinegar (9%)200 ml
  • Sugar50 g

Стъпки

    Wash and prepare all vegetables. Cut cauliflower into florets, carrots into thick slices or sticks, bell peppers into large pieces, green tomatoes in half or quarters, and celery into chunks. Peel and slice horseradish root. Peel garlic cloves.

    Sterilize glass jars and lids.

    Layer the prepared vegetables, dill sprigs, horseradish slices, and garlic cloves tightly into the sterilized jars.

    In a large pot, combine water, salt, vinegar, and sugar. Bring to a boil, stirring until salt and sugar are dissolved. Let it cool slightly.

    Carefully pour the warm brine over the vegetables in the jars, ensuring they are fully submerged. Leave about 1-2 cm of headspace.

    Seal the jars tightly with the sterilized lids.

    Store the jars in a cool, dark place for at least 3-4 weeks to allow the pickles to ferment and mature.
