- Water3 L
- Salt150 g
- Vinegar (9%)200 ml
- Sugar50 g
- Red Pepper Flakes (optional)1 tsp

Wash and prepare vegetables as for the classic version. Slice chili peppers into rings.

Sterilize glass jars and lids.

Layer vegetables, dill, horseradish, garlic, and chili pepper slices into the jars.

Prepare the brine: boil water, salt, vinegar, and sugar. Let it cool slightly. Add red pepper flakes if using.

Pour the warm brine over the vegetables, ensuring they are fully submerged. Leave headspace.
