  • Milk3/4 cup
  • Egg1 large
  • Honey1/2 cup (for glaze)
  • Water1/4 cup (for glaze)
  • Vegetable oil for frying3 cups
  • Fresh berries for garnishas needed

    Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. The batter should be thick but pourable.

    Heat vegetable oil in a deep pot over medium-high heat to about 350°F (175°C).

    Using a spoon or a piping bag with a wide tip, carefully drop small portions of batter into the hot oil, creating irregular shapes.
