- sirene cheese (Bulgarian white brine cheese)350g
- eggs3 large
- plain yogurt100g
- fresh spinach, chopped150g
- fresh dill, chopped2 tbsp
- fresh parsley, chopped2 tbsp
- butter, melted50g

Prepare the dough as in the traditional recipe: Mix flour, water, 50ml oil, and salt. Knead, cover, and rest for 30 minutes.

For the filling: Crumble sirene cheese. Whisk eggs and yogurt. Mix cheese, eggs, yogurt, chopped spinach, dill, and parsley.

Roll out dough portions thinly. Layer in a greased baking dish, brushing each layer with melted butter and spreading the spinach-cheese filling.

Finish with a dough layer, brush with butter, and score.

Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (400°F) for 35-45 minutes until golden brown.
