- River fish (e.g., catfish, trout)450g
- Leek1 large
- Tomatoes2 ripe
- Garlic2 cloves
- Smoked paprika1 tsp
- Fresh dill1/2 bunch
- Vegetable oil2 tbsp
- Fish stock or water1.3 liters
- Saltto taste
- Black pepperto taste
- Sour cream (optional garnish)for serving

Cut the fish into chunks. Season with salt and pepper.

Slice the leek (white and light green parts) and mince the garlic.

Dice the tomatoes.

Heat vegetable oil in a pot over medium heat. Sauté the leek until softened, about 5 minutes.

Add the minced garlic and smoked paprika, cook for 1 minute until fragrant.

Add the diced tomatoes and cook for 5 minutes until they start to break down.

Pour in the fish stock or water. Bring to a simmer.

Add the fish pieces. Simmer gently for 10-12 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through.
