Ingredients
- Minced beef1 kg
- Onions2 large
- Garlic3 cloves
- Curry powder2 tbsp
- Turmeric1 tsp
- Cumin seeds1 tsp
- Coriander seeds1 tsp
- Bread slices2
- Milk250 ml
- Apricot jam2 tbsp
- Raisins50 g
- Almonds, slivered50 g
- Vinegar1 tbsp
- Eggs3
- Saltto taste
- Black pepperto taste
- Bay leaves3-4
Steps

Soak bread slices in milk. Squeeze out excess milk and set aside.

Finely chop onions and garlic. Sauté onions until soft, then add garlic and sauté for another minute.

Add minced beef to the pan and brown it. Drain excess fat.

Stir in curry powder, turmeric, cumin seeds, coriander seeds, salt, and pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes until fragrant.

Add the soaked bread (crumbled), apricot jam, raisins, slivered almonds, and vinegar to the meat mixture. Mix well.

Transfer the mixture to a greased ovenproof dish. Press down firmly.

Arrange bay leaves on top of the meat mixture.

Whisk eggs with the reserved milk. Pour evenly over the meat mixture.

Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 30-40 minutes, or until the topping is set and golden brown.

Let it rest for 10 minutes before serving.
