Ingredients
- Spaghetti400g
- Olive oil100ml
- Garlic4 cloves, minced
- Red pepper flakes1/4 teaspoon
- Fresh parsley2 tablespoons, chopped
- Lemon zest1/2 teaspoon
- Saltto taste

Cook spaghetti in salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve about 1/2 cup of pasta water.

While pasta cooks, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn the garlic.

Drain spaghetti and add it to the skillet.

Add a splash of reserved pasta water and toss vigorously to emulsify the sauce.
