- Store-bought pound cake or Madeira cake1 loaf
- Chocolate chips2 cups
- Vegetable oil2 tbsp
- Desiccated coconut1.5 cups
- Saltpinch

Cut the pound cake into 1-inch cubes.

Place desiccated coconut in a shallow dish.

In a microwave-safe bowl, combine chocolate chips and vegetable oil. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until melted and smooth.

Dip each cake cube into the melted chocolate, ensuring it's fully coated. Let excess chocolate drip off.

Immediately roll the chocolate-coated cake cube in the desiccated coconut until evenly coated.
