- Black Pepper1 tbsp
- Garlic6 cloves, minced
- Fresh Rosemary, chopped2 tbsp
- Fresh Thyme, chopped1 tbsp
- Olive Oil3 tbsp

Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).

Pat the prime rib dry.

In a bowl, combine minced garlic, chopped rosemary, chopped thyme, olive oil, salt, and pepper to form a paste.

Rub the paste all over the prime rib.

Place the roast in a roasting pan.

Roast at 425°F (220°C) for 15 minutes.

Reduce oven temperature to 300°F (150°C) and continue roasting for approximately 12-15 minutes per pound, or until the internal temperature reaches 125-130°F (52-54°C) for medium-rare.
