Ingredients
- Flank steak or skirt steak1.5 lbs
- Orange juice1/2 cup
- Lime juice1/4 cup
- Garlic, minced4 cloves
- Cilantro, chopped1/4 cup
- Cumin1 tsp
- Chili powder1 tsp
- Olive oil2 tbsp
- Salt1 tsp
- Black pepper1/2 tsp
- Bell peppers (red, green), sliced2 large
- White onion, sliced1 large
- Corn tortillas8-10
- Guacamole1 cup
- Lime wedgesfor serving

In a bowl, combine orange juice, lime juice, minced garlic, chopped cilantro, cumin, chili powder, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Add steak and marinate for at least 1 hour, or preferably overnight.

Remove steak from marinade and pat dry. Grill or pan-sear the steak over medium-high heat until desired doneness (about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare). Let rest for 10 minutes, then slice thinly against the grain.

While steak rests, grill or sauté sliced bell peppers and onions in the same pan or on the grill until tender and slightly charred.

Combine the sliced steak with the grilled vegetables.

Warm corn tortillas. Serve the carne asada steak and vegetable mixture with warm tortillas, guacamole, and lime wedges.
