Ingredients
- Beef sirloin or flank steak1 lb
- Soy sauce1/3 cup
- Brown sugar2 tbsp
- Cornstarch1 tbsp
- Garlic powder1 tsp
- Ginger powder1/2 tsp
- Scallions3, chopped
- Vegetable oil2 tbsp
- Water1/4 cup

Slice beef thinly against the grain. In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, cornstarch, garlic powder, ginger powder, and water until smooth.

Add beef to the sauce mixture and toss to coat. Let sit for 5 minutes.

Heat vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat.

Add beef and stir-fry until browned and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes. Add chopped scallions during the last minute of cooking.

Stir continuously until the sauce thickens and coats the beef.
