- Cedar planks2 (12-inch)
- Chipotle peppers in adobo sauce2, minced
- Adobo sauce1 tablespoon
- Lime juice2 tablespoons
- Honey1 tablespoon
- Garlic2 cloves, minced
- Cumin1 teaspoon

- Fresh cilantro1/4 cup, chopped (for garnish)

Soak cedar planks in water for at least 1 hour.

Preheat grill to medium-high heat.

In a bowl, combine minced chipotle peppers, adobo sauce, lime juice, honey, minced garlic, cumin, salt, and pepper. Mix well to create a marinade.

Place salmon fillets skin-down on the soaked cedar planks. Brush generously with the chipotle marinade.

Grill on the preheated grill with the lid closed for 12-18 minutes, or until salmon is cooked through and flakes easily. The marinade should caramelize slightly.
