Ingredients
- Deli roast beef (thinly sliced)1.5 lbs
- Beef broth3 cups
- Water1 cup
- Garlic powder1 tsp
- Onion powder1 tsp
- Dried oregano1 tsp
- Salt1/2 tsp
- Black pepper1/2 tsp
- Hoagie rolls4
- Mild pickled peppers (optional)to taste

In a saucepan, combine beef broth, water, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer.

Add the thinly sliced deli roast beef to the simmering broth. Cook for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the beef is heated through and has absorbed some flavor.

While the beef simmers, lightly toast the hoagie rolls.

Drain some of the broth from the beef, reserving it for dipping.

Pile the seasoned roast beef onto the bottom half of each hoagie roll.
