- Ground beef1 lb
- Soy sauce1/4 cup
- Ketchup2 tbsp
- Honey or brown sugar1 tbsp
- Garlic powder1 tsp
- Ground ginger1/2 tsp
- Frozen peas and carrots mix1/2 cup
- Cooked rice, for serving4 cups
- Chives or green onions, chopped2 tbsp

In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, ketchup, honey (or brown sugar), garlic powder, and ground ginger.

Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook, breaking it up, until browned. Drain excess fat.

Add the sauce mixture and the frozen peas and carrots to the skillet. Stir well and cook for 3-5 minutes, until the sauce thickens slightly and the vegetables are heated through.
