Ingredients
- Ground beef1 lb
- Onion, chopped1 medium
- Garlic, minced2 cloves
- Diced tomatoes, undrained1 can (14.5 oz)
- Kidney beans, drained and rinsed1 can (15 oz)
- Black beans, drained and rinsed1 can (15 oz)
- Corn, drained1 can (15 oz)
- Chicken broth4 cups
- Taco seasoning mix1 packet (1 oz)
- Chili powder1 tsp
- Cumin1 tsp
- Saltto taste
- Black pepperto taste
- Optional garnishes: shredded cheddar cheese, sour cream, chopped cilantro, crushed tortilla chipsas desired

In a large pot or Dutch oven, brown the ground beef over medium-high heat. Drain off any excess grease.

Add the chopped onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.

Stir in the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute more until fragrant.

Add the diced tomatoes (undrained), kidney beans, black beans, corn, chicken broth, taco seasoning, chili powder, and cumin. Stir to combine.

Bring the soup to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for at least 20-30 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld. Stir occasionally.
