- Ground cinnamon1.5 tsp
- Lemon juice1 tbsp
- Butter (melted)30g
- Egg (beaten, for wash)1
- Powdered sugar (for dusting)to taste

Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F).

Prepare the filling: Peel, core, and dice the apples. Mix with brown sugar, cinnamon, lemon juice, and melted butter.

Thaw puff pastry according to package directions. Unroll or lightly roll out each sheet.

Spread the apple filling evenly over one sheet of puff pastry, leaving a border. Top with the second sheet of puff pastry.

Crimp the edges to seal. Cut slits on top for steam to escape. Brush the top with beaten egg.
