A simplified version of Mađarica using store-bought puff pastry for a faster preparation, while retaining the layered chocolate cream concept.

- Puff pastry, ready-made2 sheets (approx. 500 g)
- Dark chocolate250 g
- Butter150 g
- Powdered sugar100 g
- Milk50 ml
- Vanilla extract1 tsp
- Salt1 pinch

Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F). Unroll puff pastry sheets and cut into desired rectangular shapes. Prick with a fork.

Bake puff pastry layers until golden brown and puffed. Once cooled, gently trim edges if needed to make them uniform.

For the chocolate cream: Melt dark chocolate. In a separate bowl, cream butter and powdered sugar until fluffy. Gradually beat in melted chocolate, milk, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth.

Assemble the cake: Spread chocolate cream between the baked puff pastry layers. Cover the top and sides with the remaining cream.

Chill for at least 2 hours before slicing and serving.
