- Potatoes500 g
- Carrots200 g
- Onion1 large
- Garlic2 cloves
- Olive oil3 tbsp
- Saltto taste

Wash and chop the Swiss chard, separating the stems from the leaves.

Peel and dice the potatoes and carrots.

Finely chop the onion and garlic.

In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté the chopped onion until translucent.

Add the chopped garlic and sauté for another minute until fragrant.

Add the Swiss chard stems, diced potatoes, and carrots to the pot. Stir well.

Pour in enough water to cover the vegetables. Season with salt and black pepper.

Bring to a boil, then reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 30-40 minutes, or until vegetables are tender.

Add the Swiss chard leaves during the last 10-15 minutes of cooking, allowing them to wilt.

Stir and cook for a few more minutes until the leaves are tender. Adjust seasoning if needed.
