- Pre-made Roti Paratha4 pieces
- Small Onion1/2, finely chopped
- Garlic Powder1/4 teaspoon
- Chili Flakespinch (optional)
- Saltto taste
- Black Pepperto taste
- Vegetable Oil1 tablespoon

Drain the sardines, reserving a little oil. Mash the sardines in a bowl.

Heat vegetable oil (or reserved sardine oil) in a small pan over medium heat. Sauté the chopped onion until softened, about 3 minutes.

Add the mashed sardines to the pan with the onions. Stir in garlic powder, chili flakes (if using), salt, and pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes until heated through and well combined. Add a splash of water if too dry.

Prepare the roti paratha according to package instructions, usually by pan-frying until golden and slightly puffed.

Place a portion of the sardine mixture onto one half of each cooked roti. Fold the roti in half and press gently.

Briefly pan-fry the filled roti again for about 1 minute per side to meld the flavors and ensure it's warm.
