- glutinous rice flour150g
- water120ml
- saltpinch
- sweetened shredded coconut100g
- sugar1 tbsp
- banana leaves (optional)10 pieces

Prepare the filling: Mix sweetened shredded coconut with sugar. If using unsweetened coconut, add more sugar to taste. Set aside.

Prepare the dough: Combine glutinous rice flour and salt in a bowl. Gradually add warm water, mixing until a soft dough forms. Knead until smooth.

Assemble: Take a small portion of dough, flatten it, and place a teaspoon of filling in the center. Enclose the filling with the dough, forming a ball or a flattened disc. If using banana leaves, wrap each piece similarly to the traditional method.

Steam: Arrange the Kuih Koci in a steamer. Steam for 10-15 minutes until cooked through.
