- Cornstarch1 cup
- Salt1 tsp
- Black pepper1/2 tsp
- Vegetable oil for frying3 cups
- Gochujang (Korean chili paste)1/4 cup
- Honey2 tbsp
- Soy sauce1 tbsp
- Rice vinegar1 tbsp
- Minced garlic1 tsp
- Sesame seeds for garnish1 tsp
- Chopped scallions for garnish2 tbsp

Toss chicken pieces generously with cornstarch until evenly coated.

Heat vegetable oil in a deep pot or wok to 350°F (175°C).

Fry chicken in batches for 10-12 minutes until golden brown and cooked through. Drain on paper towels.
